Protecting children is one of Ourlime's highest safety priorities. Ourlime maintains zero tolerance for Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) and Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM). Users must never use Ourlime to:

Where required by applicable law, Ourlime may preserve relevant information and report confirmed CSAM or other qualifying child-safety incidents to appropriate authorities. For complete information about our standards and procedures concerning child safety, please review the Ourlime Child Safety Standards Policy.

  • Threaten to distribute intimate material;
  • Use intimate material for blackmail or extortion;
  • Secretly record or distribute sexual content where doing so violates another person's rights;

9. Hate and Discriminatory Abuse

Ourlime encourages people from different backgrounds and communities to interact respectfully. Content that attacks, threatens, dehumanizes, or advocates violence or serious discrimination against people based on legally protected characteristics may be removed. Context matters. Discussion of discrimination, history, politics, religion, culture, identity, public policy, news events, academic subjects, and controversial issues is not automatically prohibited merely because the subject is sensitive or disagreement occurs.

10. Self-Harm and Dangerous Challenges

Ourlime does not permit content that intentionally encourages, instructs, glorifies, or promotes suicide, self-harm, eating-disorder behaviour, or dangerous activities likely to cause serious injury. Supportive discussions, recovery stories, educational material, awareness campaigns, and conversations intended to help people may be permitted. Content that appears to indicate an immediate safety risk may be subject to additional safety intervention where appropriate and legally permitted.

Users must not knowingly offer prohibited, illegal, stolen, counterfeit, fraudulent, or dangerous goods or services in violation of applicable law or Ourlime policies. Ourlime may restrict particular categories of goods and services even where those products may be lawful in certain jurisdictions. Commercial activity may also be subject to additional Marketplace, payment, advertising, or seller policies.

Educators, community administrators, and other adults interacting with younger users are expected to maintain appropriate professional boundaries.

20. Communities and Community Administrators

Ourlime Communities allow users to create spaces around shared interests, organizations, schools, businesses, projects, professions, and other legitimate purposes. Community administrators and moderators are expected to promote compliance with Ourlime's policies. Community-specific rules may be stricter than Ourlime's general Community Guidelines but cannot authorize content or behaviour prohibited by Ourlime. Ourlime reserves the right to restrict, suspend, or remove communities that repeatedly or seriously violate our policies. Administrators may also face enforcement where they knowingly facilitate serious policy violations.

21. Events

Events created or promoted through Ourlime must comply with these Community Guidelines and applicable law. Ourlime must not be used to organize events for:

  • Child exploitation;
  • Human trafficking;
  • Serious criminal activity;
  • Credible violent activity;
  • Fraudulent schemes; or
  • Other activities prohibited by Ourlime.

Event organizers are responsible for accurately representing the nature of their events.

22. Intellectual Property

Users should only upload or distribute content they have the right to use. Ourlime respects intellectual property rights. Users must not knowingly use Ourlime to repeatedly infringe:

  • Copyright;
  • Trademarks;
  • Other intellectual property rights; or
  • Applicable proprietary rights.

Rights holders may report alleged infringement through Ourlime's designated reporting process. Ourlime may remove infringing material and take action against repeat infringers where appropriate.

23. Misinformation and Harmful Deception

Ourlime supports open discussion and recognizes that people may be mistaken, disagree, express opinions, or debate disputed issues. We do not intend to treat every inaccurate statement as a policy violation. However, Ourlime may restrict or remove deceptive content where necessary to prevent serious real-world harm, fraud, impersonation, manipulation, or other violations of our policies. Content may be evaluated based on context, intent, potential harm, applicable law, and the nature of the claim.

24. Artificial Intelligence and Manipulated Media

AI-generated and digitally manipulated content may be used on Ourlime where permitted by our policies. However, users must not use artificial intelligence or manipulated media to:

  • Create sexualized depictions of children;
  • Facilitate child exploitation;

  • Impersonate another person for harmful purposes;
  • Create non-consensual intimate imagery;
  • Blackmail or extort someone;
  • Falsely represent manipulated media as authentic where doing so creates a serious risk of harm; or
  • Circumvent Ourlime's safety systems.

Ourlime may introduce labels or disclosure requirements for certain AI-generated or manipulated content.

25. Reporting Violations

Users help keep Ourlime safe. Where reporting functionality is available, users can report content, accounts, communities, messages, listings, events, or other activity that may violate these Community Guidelines. Reports may cover issues including:

  • Scams or fraud;
  • Spam;
  • Impersonation;
  • Privacy violations;
  • Illegal activity;
  • Intellectual property violations; and
  • Other violations.

Users should provide accurate information when making reports. Submitting a report does not automatically mean the reported user or content violated Ourlime's policies. Reports may be reviewed before enforcement action is taken, except where immediate restrictions are considered necessary for safety, legal, or security reasons.

26. Blocking and Personal Safety

Ourlime may provide tools that allow users to block or restrict interaction with other users. Blocking may help prevent another account from contacting, following, viewing, or interacting with a user depending on the functionality involved. Users who feel unsafe are encouraged to use available blocking and reporting tools. If someone appears to be in immediate physical danger, users should contact the appropriate emergency service or law-enforcement authority. Ourlime's reporting systems are not a substitute for emergency services.

27. How Ourlime Enforces These Guidelines

Ourlime may use reports, human review, automated systems, technical safeguards, trusted reports, and other appropriate methods to identify potential violations. When determining what action to take, Ourlime may consider:

  • The severity of the violation;
  • Whether children are at risk;
  • Whether there is an immediate safety threat;
  • The user's history of violations;
  • Whether the behaviour appears intentional;
  • The potential for real-world harm;
  • Whether the account is coordinating abuse;
  • The context of the content; and
  • Applicable legal obligations.

Not every violation will receive the same enforcement action.

28. Enforcement Actions

Depending on the circumstances, Ourlime may:

  • Remove users from communities;
  • Restrict Marketplace or Jobs functionality;

  • Grooming;
  • Child trafficking;
  • Sextortion;
  • Credible threats of serious violence;
  • Human trafficking;
  • Serious sexual exploitation; or
  • Other conduct creating an immediate or severe risk of harm.

29. Attempts to Evade Enforcement

Users must not attempt to circumvent Ourlime's enforcement actions. This may include:

  • Creating replacement accounts after permanent suspension;
  • Using another person's account to evade restrictions;
  • Re-uploading prohibited content;
  • Altering prohibited content solely to evade detection;
  • Coordinating with others to circumvent restrictions; or
  • Attempting to interfere with Ourlime's moderation systems.

Attempts to evade enforcement may result in additional restrictions.

30. Appeals

We recognize that moderation decisions can sometimes require further review. Where appropriate, Ourlime may allow users to appeal certain enforcement decisions. An appeal does not guarantee that a decision will be reversed. Ourlime may review:

  • The original content or conduct;
  • The reason for enforcement;
  • Additional context supplied by the user;
  • Previous violations;
  • Applicable policies; and
  • Relevant legal or safety requirements.

Some child-safety, legal, security, or law-enforcement matters may limit the information Ourlime can provide during an appeal.

31. Cooperation With Authorities

Where required by applicable law, Uptech Incorporated Ltd. may preserve information, respond to valid legal requests, and cooperate with competent authorities concerning serious illegal activity occurring through Ourlime. For child sexual abuse and exploitation matters, Ourlime will follow the procedures described in our Child Safety Standards Policy.

32. Community Safety Is a Shared Responsibility

If something feels unsafe or suspicious, users are encouraged to report it.

Unless Ourlime expressly processes and guarantees a transaction, sellers are generally responsible for clearly communicating their refund and return terms. Sellers should disclose before purchase:

  • Whether returns are accepted;
  • Applicable return periods;
  • Conditions for refunds;
  • Responsibility for return shipping;
  • Restocking or administrative fees, where lawful; and
  • Exceptions.

Seller refund policies must comply with applicable consumer-protection laws.

24. Disputes Between Buyers and Sellers

Buyers and sellers should first attempt to resolve ordinary transaction disputes directly and respectfully. Disputes may involve:

  • Item not received;
  • Incorrect item;
  • Damaged goods;
  • Misrepresentation;
  • Payment disagreement;
  • Delivery issue;
  • Refund disagreement; or
  • Service quality.

Where Ourlime provides a dispute-resolution feature, users may submit relevant information for review. Ourlime does not guarantee that every dispute will be resolved in favour of either party.

25. Fraudulent Buyers

Marketplace rules apply to buyers as well as sellers. Buyers must not:

  • Make fraudulent payment claims;
  • Falsely claim that an item was not delivered;
  • Reverse legitimate payments dishonestly;
  • Use stolen payment methods;
  • Threaten sellers for refunds;
  • Submit knowingly false complaints;
  • Attempt to obtain products without payment; or

  • Provide counterfeit goods;
  • Misrepresent products;
  • Operate fake stores;
  • Use stolen identities;
  • Sell prohibited goods;
  • Manipulate transaction records; or
  • Use Marketplace primarily to defraud users.

Serious or repeated fraud may result in permanent suspension.

Where Ourlime provides ratings or reviews, users must submit reviews based on genuine experiences. Users must not:

  • Purchase fake reviews;
  • Create accounts to inflate ratings;
  • Threaten users into providing positive reviews;
  • Post knowingly false reviews;
  • Exchange payment for undisclosed reviews;

Users must not abuse Marketplace to send unsolicited or repetitive commercial communications. This includes:

  • Repeated unsolicited messages;

  • Misleading promotional links;
  • Irrelevant advertising;
  • Automated spam;

  • Comment spam.

Ourlime may reduce visibility, remove content, or restrict accounts engaged in repeated spam.

31. Off-Platform Transactions

Users may choose to complete certain transactions outside Ourlime where permitted. However, users should understand that Ourlime may have limited ability to assist with disputes involving off-platform payments or communications. Users should be cautious if another person pressures them to:

  • Leave Ourlime immediately;
  • Pay through an unusual method;
  • Avoid transaction records;
  • Send money before receiving adequate information;
  • Share passwords or authentication codes; or
  • Communicate only through untraceable channels.

Such behaviour may indicate fraud.

32. Personal Information

Marketplace users should only request information reasonably necessary to complete a legitimate transaction. Sellers must not use Marketplace listings to improperly collect:

  • Passwords;
  • Account credentials;
  • Government ID numbers without lawful justification;
  • Financial passwords;
  • Authentication codes;
  • Private medical information;
  • Intimate information; or
  • Unnecessary information about children.

Personal information obtained through a transaction must be handled responsibly and in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

Ourlime may use verification systems to improve Marketplace trust and safety. Verification may include:

  • Account verification;
  • Identity verification;
  • Business verification;
  • Contact verification;
  • Seller verification;
  • Transaction verification; or

Verification does not constitute an endorsement or guarantee by Ourlime. Users should continue to exercise reasonable caution.

  • Unusual payment requests;
  • Repeated fraud reports;
  • Newly created accounts conducting high-value sales;
  • Suspicious links;
  • Potential counterfeit goods;
  • High-risk product categories; or
  • Attempts to move users off-platform.

Ourlime may suspend transactions or accounts while reviewing suspected abuse.

  • Transaction information;
  • Seller history;
  • Account information;

  • Other relevant information.

Ourlime may take action where a listing, transaction, account, or pattern of activity creates a policy, legal, security, or safety risk.

37. Enforcement Actions

Marketplace enforcement may include:

  • Removing a listing;
  • Editing or restricting listing visibility;

  • Reporting qualifying criminal activity to authorities.

Serious violations may result in immediate action without prior warning.

38. Repeat Violations

Users who repeatedly violate Marketplace rules may face progressively stronger enforcement. Ourlime may permanently restrict access to Marketplace where a user demonstrates a pattern of:

  • Fraud;
  • Counterfeiting;
  • Misleading listings;
  • Prohibited sales;
  • Non-delivery scams;
  • Harassment;
  • Payment abuse;
  • Intellectual property infringement; or
  • Attempts to evade enforcement.

39. Enforcement Evasion

Users must not attempt to bypass Marketplace restrictions by:

  • Creating new accounts;
  • Using another person's account;
  • Reposting removed listings;
  • Altering prohibited listings to avoid detection;
  • Changing seller identity;
  • Using multiple accounts to conceal activity; or
  • Coordinating with others to bypass restrictions.

Evasion may result in permanent account termination.

40. Appeals

Where available, users may appeal certain Marketplace enforcement decisions. Appeals should provide truthful and relevant information explaining why the decision should be reconsidered. Ourlime may uphold, modify, or reverse an enforcement action following review. Some decisions involving child safety, fraud investigations, law-enforcement activity, or serious security risks may not be eligible for ordinary appeal.

41. Ourlime's Role in Marketplace Transactions

Unless Ourlime or Uptech Incorporated Ltd. is expressly identified as the seller or service provider, Marketplace transactions are generally conducted between independent users. Ourlime provides technology that helps users discover and communicate about products and services. Ourlime does not automatically:

  • Own listed products;
  • Manufacture listed products;
  • Guarantee product quality;
  • Guarantee seller performance;
  • Guarantee buyer payment;
  • Guarantee delivery;
  • Guarantee the legality of every listing;
  • Endorse every seller;
  • Inspect every product; or
  • Guarantee that every user is who they claim to be.

Where Ourlime directly provides payment, fulfillment, escrow, delivery, warranty, or other services, separate terms may apply.

42. No Guarantee of Transactions

Users participate in Marketplace transactions at their own risk, subject to applicable consumer-protection rights. Ourlime cannot guarantee that:

  • A buyer will complete payment;
  • A seller will deliver;
  • A product will meet expectations;
  • A listing is error-free;
  • A user will act honestly;
  • A transaction will not result in a dispute; or
  • An external payment provider will reverse or process a transaction.

Nothing in this Policy excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer-protection laws.

43. Limitation of Marketplace Access

Ourlime may restrict Marketplace access based on:

  • User age;
  • Account history;
  • Location;
  • Legal requirements;
  • Verification status;
  • Safety concerns;
  • Product category;
  • Fraud risk;
  • Payment risk; or
  • Other legitimate platform considerations.

Marketplace availability may therefore differ between users and jurisdictions.

45. Taxes and Duties

Users are responsible for determining and fulfilling their own tax, customs, duty, licensing, and reporting obligations unless Ourlime expressly states otherwise. Ourlime may collect, deduct, report, or remit certain taxes where required by applicable law.

46. Product Recalls and Safety Issues

Sellers should not knowingly sell recalled or dangerously defective products. If a seller becomes aware that a product presents a significant safety risk, the seller should take appropriate action, which may include:

  • Removing the listing;
  • Informing affected buyers;
  • Providing refunds or replacement information where required;
  • Following applicable recall procedures; and
  • Cooperating with relevant authorities.

Ourlime may remove listings involving known unsafe products.

47. Changes to This Policy

Uptech Incorporated Ltd. may update this Marketplace Policy as Ourlime introduces new features, payment systems, seller tools, product categories, safety controls, or legal requirements. Material updates may be communicated through Ourlime or through our publicly accessible policy pages. The "Last Updated" date at the beginning of this Policy identifies the latest revision.
